Hi, I'm Kristine Petterson

My transition to parenthood was challenging. From exhaustion, postpartum mental health struggles, and marital challenges... the first 11 months were dark. My little one struggled to self-soothe and I didn't know why, or how to help her.  Things only got worse and I hit rock bottom when she was 11 months old and waking every 90 minutes for a feeding and lots of rocking, bouncing, walking, crying (from both of us) to get her back to sleep.


Today, though, I'm proud to say that I have two incredible daughters who are well-rested, cooperative and independent. My husband and I are strong team who show up and do the work to support sleep and prioritize mental & phsyical wellness for the whole family.

Q: how long does it take to complete THE course materials?

A: This course will take you somewhere between 1-3 hours to consume the videos, articles and print the documents. You decide how much time and energy you're willing to invest in practicing the tips and strategies provided. 

Q: WHAT MAKES THIS PROGRAM UNIQUE?

A: Our sleep plans are based on the latest sleep science, AND we work with you to discover root causes of sleep challenges. Our programs are effective because we touch on key mindset changes and nervous system regulation for both parents and babies. 

Q: CAN BABIES REALLY LEARN TO SELF-SOOTHE?

A: Absolutely! Learning to feel safe and confident sleeping independently is a skill that all babies can learn with the right teachers and strategies. Your child can learn to love sleeping in their own cozy sleep space. 

Q: Does this come with a guarantee?

A: We cannot guarantee your baby will sleep through night with the Mini-Course alone, there are too many moving parts (behavioral, biological, environmental, etc). The only programs we guarantee are our 1:1 sleep packages because we are able to collect data, customize a sleep plan to your needs, provide hours of education and follow up support calls to ensure you meet your goals over our time together.

A: There's no catch! I created these resources to support DIY families who want to learn how to lay a foundation for healthy newborn sleep, but don't want the full Sleep From The Starat program group or 1:1 support program. I truly hope this informs and empowers you, so that you can uplift others.
